Spend your Friday evening in the heart of Decatur at Downtown Decatur Third Friday on June 19. The monthly street festival brings together live music, classic cars, local vendors, food trucks and family-friendly activities throughout downtown. Visitors can browse handmade goods, explore local shops and restaurants, and enjoy a lively community atmosphere while taking in entertainment along Second Avenue. The free event takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in downtown Decatur.

Etowah County Swap Meet and Car Show — Attalla

June 19th

Classic cars, collectibles and plenty of horsepower take center stage at the Etowah County Swap Meet and Car Show on June 19-20 in Attalla. The two-day event will feature classic vehicles, swap meet vendors, door prizes and family-friendly activities throughout the weekend. Whether you’re searching for automotive parts and memorabilia or simply enjoy admiring vintage rides, the show offers something for car enthusiasts of all ages. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at American Legion 71 in Attalla.

Camp Grizzly Bear: Dad’s Day Out — Huntsville

June 20th

Celebrate Dad with an afternoon of outdoor fun at Bridge Street Town Centre’s Camp Grizzly Bear: Dad’s Day Out on Saturday, June 20. The free event features catch-and-release fishing, a scavenger hunt, paper airplane contests, dads-vs.-kids trivia and live country music. Guests can also enjoy complimentary food and treats while supplies last, including burgers, gelato samples and macarons. The event runs from 2-4 p.m. around the lake at Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville.

Open Air Summer Solstice Concert — Huntsville

June 21st

Welcome the official start of summer at the Huntsville Botanical Garden’s Summer Solstice Concert on Sunday, June 21. Held in the garden’s outdoor amphitheater, the evening will feature live performances by the Southern Strings ensemble surrounded by the beauty of the summer landscape. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs, arrive early for food and drinks, and settle in for a relaxing night of music and nature. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and offers a memorable evening of live music in one of Huntsville’s most scenic settings.
