“Partnering with CSX is a great opportunity for our students,” said Drake State Dean of
Instruction Dr. Carolyn Henderson. “This opportunity will expose students, including dual
enrollment students to software application development and high-wage and high-demand
technology career fields particularly in Huntsville.”

Through the CSX grant, “Appy Hours” exposes students to software application development. The Alabama Collective partner, Ed Farm, will provide immersive STEM training to students in the classroom.
