Arcadia, a $56.8M residential apartment community, completed in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE – There is a new tenant in Huntsville’s Cummings Research Park.

And that tenant will have a few hundred tenants, as well.

Capstone Building has completed Arcadia, a 250-apartment community, the Birmingham-based general contractor announced. The $56.8 million project was developed by Bobo Family Group and Boaz Ventures.

Arcadia covers 432,070 square feet and features spacious studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom unit options. The development offers a community clubhouse room, heated saltwater pool, open-air grilling station, fitness center, outdoor lounge with gas fire pits, street-level retail spaces, and a two-level parking deck.

Apartment home amenities include in-home GE Smart washer and dryers, GE Stainless Steel kitchen appliances, granite countertops, and private balconies, according to a news release.

“Capstone Building Corp. is proud to have partnered with Bobo Family Group and Boaz Ventures to bring Arcadia to life,” said Brandon Loyd, Capstone Building vice president of project management. “This development represents a significant addition to the Huntsville community, offering luxury living and modern amenities that meet the needs of both professionals and families.

“It’s exciting to see how Arcadia will contribute to the continued growth and innovation of the area.”

At 4810 Bradford Drive, Arcadia is across the street from the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering and provides close access to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center,  the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Calhoun Community College’s Huntsville campus.

The architect for Arcadia was Williams Blackstock Architects of Birmingham. Retail Specialists, a full-service commercial real estate firm, was also a development partner for this project. The interior design was completed by Design Environments and the murals within the space were created by Alabama muralist, Emma Gilbert Art.
