Athens-Limestone Hospital is asking residents across Limestone County to weigh in on local healthcare needs as part of a new Community Needs Assessment aimed at shaping future services and priorities.
Hospital officials said the short, anonymous survey is open to anyone in the community, including residents, patients, families, employees and visitors. The feedback will be used to evaluate healthcare challenges and identify opportunities to improve and expand services.
“The more voices we hear, the better we can serve Limestone County,” hospital representatives said in outreach efforts encouraging participation.
The assessment is designed to gather broad input on community health concerns, access to care and other factors that influence overall well-being. Responses will help guide decisions on programs, resources and potential areas of investment.
Participation is open to all, and individuals may assist others in completing the survey if needed. Hospital leaders emphasized that a wide range of responses is critical to ensuring the results reflect the full scope of community needs.
The survey is available online and will remain open through April 27.
Athens-Limestone Hospital is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System and serves as a key provider of care in Limestone County. The 71-bed facility employs more than 900 people and works with more than 150 physicians, offering a range of services to patients across the region.
Officials said the Community Needs Assessment is a vital tool in helping the hospital continue delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while adapting to the evolving needs of the growing North Alabama community.
