Auburn Baseball takes over Toyota Field

SEC baseball is coming to Toyota Field for the first time. The home of the Rocket City Trash Pandas will host the Auburn University Tigers on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

Tickets are going fast. At last check, there are only a few seats left going for more than $54 in the Lexus Box, but there’s still plenty of room in the fan-favorite — The Berm. The berm grass seating tickets are $8.72, while there are also standing-room-only options still available outside the Stadium Club, $27.25, and behind left field, $8.72.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. with all gates at Toyota Field opening at 4:30 p.m.  Parking passes are available through Clutch! for $6.75 in advance and $10 on the day of the game.

Reminder, Toyota Field is a cashless stadium and they do have a clear bag policy:

Fans will be encouraged not to bring any bags, however, the following will be permitted:

  • One clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”

-OR-

  • A one gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar)
  • In addition, fans may carry a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5” x 4.5”, with or without a strap.
  • Each ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse.

*Medical bags – Guests needing to carry a bag for required medical supplies or devices are permitted. However, all bags are subject to inspection by Toyota Field security. Following inspection, the bag/item will be tagged with a Health/Dietary Needs Approved sticker by security.

*Diaper Bags – Parents or guardians needing to bring in a diaper bag for their infant will be allowed to do so, subject to inspection by Toyota Field security. Must have accompanying infant in order to bring in a diaper bag.

A near-sellout crowd at Toyota Stadium for Tuesday’s game follows a record-crowd home opener at Plainsman Park for the Tiger’s win over Troy University on February 23. The Auburn Tigers record currently sits at 5-2.
