HUNTSVILLE — Bringing together senior military leaders and industry experts, the 2025 AUSA Global Force Symposium & Exposition is set for March 25-27 in the Rocket City. The three-day event in the Von Braun Center provides an in-depth look at the Army’s modernization strategy.
The Global Force Symposium & Exposition is hosted by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), a nonprofit organization that supports the Army, its soldiers, and families while also working to educate the public, industry, and Congress about the Army’s role in national defense.
Marc Jacobson, president of the Redstone-Huntsville AUSA Chapter, said the AUSA is the foremost supporter of the total Army.
“AUSA is the largest support organization for the army. We’re a nonprofit education and professional development organization,” said Jacobson. “Locally, we provide scholarships, we’re an integral part of the planning for Veterans Week, Armed Forces Week, Army birthday; we support soldiers, Department of the Army civilians, veterans and the overall Army family.”
The AUSA Redstone-Huntsville chapter has 460,000 members; nationally, the organization counts 1.8 million members.

Jacobson said this year’s Global Force Symposium & Exposition expects more than 7,000 attendees and more than 200 exhibits.
“Collaboration is a big component,” he said. “The symposium will include the Army Materiel Command, the Army Futures Command, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, among others.”
With the theme, “Driving Continuous Transformation of Ready Combat Formations,” this year’s AUSA Global Force Symposium will highlight the Army’s efforts to modernize its force, enhance its capabilities, and strengthen partnerships with industry.
This year’s exposition will feature a series of high-profile guest presentations and panel discussions modernization, including research and development, acquisition processes, and the vital role of industry partnerships. The sessions will showcase how the Army plans to integrate advanced technologies and streamline its operations in order to maintain an edge in future conflicts.
Jacobson said the Global Force Symposium has taken place in Huntsville for the past 11 years and provides a huge boost for the city.
“In addition to the economic impact, the event further showcases Huntsville and Redstone Arsenal’s capabilities to a national audience,” he said.

While the event features special guest presentations, panel discussions and hundreds of exhibitions, Jacobson said there’s also plenty of social opportunities as well.
“We have a YP (Young Professional) event the first night of the symposium at Mars Music Hall and Wednesday night is the Rocket City Bash hosted by our AUSA chapter with live music and food under the Saturn V at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center,” said Jacobson.
Thursday will feature the JROTC/ROTC and Future Service Members Luncheon.
“Last year, we brought in over 500 cadets for the luncheon,” said Jacobson. “It was an amazing event.”
