Huntsville-based CFD Research, whose headquarters is located in Cummings Research Park, has been awarded a multiple-award IDIQ (indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity) contract to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2).

It lets CFD Research compete for orders under $950,000,000 for the maturation, demonstration and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains in support of JADC2.

The contract, which will be fulfilled primarily at the company’s Dayton Operations Center in Beavercreek, Ohio, is part of a multiple award, multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems across air, land, sea, space, cyber, and the electromagnetic spectrum, in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.

“This is an exciting win for CFD Research” said George Dalton, CFD research vice president of Dayton operations. “Being involved in these types of programs is why we opened our Dayton office a year ago. We are now providing direct support to our Dayton customers including the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

“We will continue to grow by enabling our customers better access to our world class research team and providing local support for these efforts.”

Founded in the basement of the late Dr. Ashok Singhal’s Huntsville home in 1987, CFD Research provides innovative solutions within the Aerospace & Defense, Biomedical & Life Sciences, and Energy & Materials industries. Over the years, the company has earned multiple national awards for successful application and commercialization of innovative technology prototypes, multi-physics simulation software, multi-disciplinary analyses, and expert support services.

The company’s impressive growth put the company in Inc. Magazine’s 5000 for two consecutive years.
