MADISON – The Madison Chamber of Commerce is inviting you to some hippity-hop shopping while mopping up the savings.

The chamber is launching its first Hop ‘n Shop event, March 24-25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Customers at participating Madison businesses will have opportunities to win discounts, coupons, Easter eggs filled with candy and all kinds of prizes and goodies … but you have to hunt for them!

Bring the children and keep a look out for the Easter Bunny! He will be hoppin’ around town and you never know where and when he might pop in while you’re shopping to entertain the kids.

The Madison Chamber’s mission is to ‘Create Community Conversations and Grow Businesses’,” said Michelle Epling, executive director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. “I have seen the staff, Chamber board, ambassadors, and its membership strive to fulfill this mission.

“Our upcoming Hop ‘n Shop is a way for our local businesses in Madison to get involved more and get us all excited about shopping small and supporting their local community this holiday season.”

Participating Hop ‘n Shop retailers include Damsel in Defense, Fleet Feet, T-Mobile, Lemon & Lavender, Hotworx, the Weston Ranch Apartments, Wafle Bitte, and Filthy Gorgeous.

“We at the Madison Chamber of Commerce are honored to have this opportunity to serve our community in this capacity and help city and business owners thrive in years to come,” said Epling.
