Hill Technical Solutions (HTS) received a 10-year, $46 billion “Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract” (EWAAC) — one of multiple contracts Hill has been awarded in support of the Air Force at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. It is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Hill is now able to leverage their problem-solving capabilities with their new state-of-the-art analysis, digital engineering, and prototype technology (ADEPT) Center in South Huntsville.
The ADEPT Center enables HTS in performing a range of tasks from hardware and software integration and model and simulation (M&S) analysis to tool development and digital engineering ecosystem development and transition training. The Center will operate as a working lab and a demonstration center.
EWACC is intended to reduce the time it takes to obtain solutions to emerging capability gaps or support to any armament-related activity, following the Armament Directorate motto, “Go Fast, Think Big.”
As the Department of Defense pushes to modernize the warfighter, the EWAAC helps provide new capabilities within multiple areas of life-cycle management, weapons systems development and requirements development.
“As a trusted partner to government agencies and the military for more than a decade, HTS is excited to contribute to the Air Force’s and Eglin’s advancement of agile force-multiplier weapon capabilities,” said Glenn Turner, HTS CEO. “We will use our experience and expertise in digital engineering, systems engineering and programmatic support to help the Air Force meet its mission.”
