Integrated Solutions for Systems Inc., a Huntsville-based defense contractor, has received a $32.9 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force, significantly increasing the value of an existing agreement tied to software-defined radio development.

According to a Department of Defense announcement, the modification adds $32,901,795 to a previously awarded contract for the Common Modular Software Defined Radio in support of the Government Reference Architecture.

The contract’s total cumulative value now stands at $71,811,686, up from $38,909,891.

Rather than representing a brand new contract award, the action is a modification to an existing agreement, meaning the Air Force is expanding the scope or funding of work already underway. The modification is identified as P00021 under contract number FA2488-24-C-B001.

Work under the contract will be performed in Niceville, Florida, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2028.

At the time of the award, $1 million in fiscal 2026 research and development funds was obligated.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity. The modification was awarded Feb. 20, 2026.
