HUNTSVILLE — There’s just one more seat to fill for the Huntsville City Council and City School Board.

And, after today, those positions will be taken.

The city’s municipale runoff election will determine representatives for District 1 City Council — incumbent Devyn Keith and challenger Michelle Watkins; and for the District 1 Huntsville City School Board — Chaundra M. Jones and Pat King.

The polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.

The election results will be canvassed at noon Oct. 1. Newly elected officials will be sworn into office Nov. 4.
