Huntsville-based Trideum Corp. has landed a $400 million U.S. Army contract to identify gaps and vulnerabilities in cyber electromagnetic activities.
The Army awarded Trideum a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, according to a Department of War contract announcement Monday. The work is expected to continue through Sept. 21, 2034.
Under an IDIQ contract, the $400 million represents the contract ceiling rather than money necessarily obligated to Trideum immediately. Specific work locations and funding will be determined as individual orders are issued.
The Army solicited one bid and received one, according to the announcement. The U.S. Army Field Directorate Office at Fort Eustis, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
Headquartered in Cummings Research Park, Trideum is a 100% employee-owned defense contractor founded in Huntsville in 2005. The company specializes in test and evaluation, modeling and simulation, systems engineering, cybersecurity and other technology supporting military customers.
The latest award builds on Trideum’s extensive Army work. The company is also a prime contractor on the Army’s Enterprise Training Services Contract, a $2.4 billion vehicle supporting training and simulation requirements around the world.
Trideum has expanded considerably since its founding and now maintains operations near several major military installations while keeping its headquarters in Huntsville.
The $400 million award is expected to run for eight years.
