Madison Chamber opens nominations for 2026 Best in Business Awards

Nominations are now open for the Madison Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Best in Business Awards, an annual event recognizing outstanding businesses, leaders and organizations across Madison’s business community.

“These awards allow us to celebrate the success of the businesses and leaders driving our community forward,” said Michelle Epling, IOM, president of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. “They inspire continued progress and innovation and help connect our members with the recognition and resources they need to grow and thrive.”

The awards are the chamber’s signature celebration of excellence, honoring achievements and community impact across nine categories. Nominations will remain open through Friday, Feb. 20.

Award categories include:

  • Start-Up Business of the Year, in partnership with The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship 
  • Best Retail Small Business of the Year 
  • Best Service Small Business of the Year 
  • Best Food and Beverage Business of the Year 
  • Best in Arts and Entertainment 
  • Best in Wellness 
  • Best in Healthcare 
  • Best Non-Profit of the Year 
  • Best Minority-Owned Business of the Year 

The Best in Business Awards ceremony is scheduled for Monday, April 20, at the Space Camp Operations Center.

The chamber encourages community members to nominate businesses and leaders whose work has helped shape Madison’s local economy and quality of life.
