MADISON — Thanks to the power of reimagination, the former Madison Senior Center is finding a new role in serving the city.

The city of Madison has unveiled Madison Meeting Hall, a multi-purpose space designed to better serve the needs of the community.

Formerly the Senior Center, the facility has been redesigned as a flexible meeting venue for public gatherings, workshops, trainings, and community events, according to a news release.

Madison Meeting Hall can accommodate about up to 100 people and includes a convenient food-prep area.

As part of the city’s ongoing efforts to make the best use of public facilities, the space will provide a welcoming and functional setting for groups to come together, the news release said.

The hall is at 1282 Hughes Road, next to Discovery Middle School. New signs for the building are coming soon.
