Huntsville’s MidCity District is adding another locally owned business this fall as Madison native Mia Muschek prepares to open Maison Rose, a boutique offering European-inspired gifts, home décor and artisan goods.
According to Muschek, Maison Rose has signed a lease in MidCity and will offer a curated selection of home goods, gifts and artisan pieces chosen for their craftsmanship, beauty and usefulness. The boutique’s inventory will rotate throughout the year to give shoppers new items to discover with each visit.
Muschek, a Madison native, said she returned to North Alabama after spending years living in other parts of the country to create the kind of store she always wished existed in Huntsville.
“We are thrilled to welcome Maison Rose to MidCity District. Mia’s travels, taste, and background are a beautiful alchemy for creating an exquisite retail experience for MidCity patrons and residents. We can’t wait for visitors to be transported to a European shopping experience when they enter the doors of Maison Rose,” shares Lindsey Pattillo Keane, Executive Director of MidCity Association, Inc.
Muschek said the boutique will focus on carefully selected merchandise rather than filling shelves with products.
“Maison Rose is built around the idea that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated. Thoughtful gifts, beautiful objects, a store that actually feels good to be in. That’s what we’re bringing to Huntsville this fall,” said Muschek.
The boutique’s street address within MidCity and its grand opening date will be announced in the coming weeks, according to Maison Rose. Customers can follow updates through the boutique’s website and social media channels.
