“The Shine On, Gold campaign is part of this ongoing success.”

Hallie Mauldin serves as the co-chair for the campaign with Joel R. Anderson II.
“The first year of the Shine On, Gold campaign has been incredibly successful, demonstrating the power of a unified, focused effort,” she said. “As a community, we have the unique opportunity to come together and create a lasting impact. Whether it’s a small donation or a larger contribution, every gift plays a vital role in building on the incredible legacy of the University of North Alabama.
I’m excited to see how we can continue this momentum and achieve even greater success in the coming years.”
Like Mauldin, Anderson said he is proud of the progress that has been made in the campaign.
“Our dedicated supporters and alumni have shown tremendous generosity, bringing us closer to our ambitious $100M fundraising goal,” he said. “The campaign has already enabled significant improvements across campus, from enhanced academic programs to upgraded facilities. We’re not just raising funds; we’re investing in the future of our students and the continued excellence of UNA.
“While we celebrate our achievements thus far, we remain committed to reaching our ultimate target. Your continued support is crucial as we work together to ensure UNA shines even brighter for generations to come.”
In addition to the banners and signs that have been placed throughout campus and in downtown Florence, UNA Advancement has also launched a texting option that will allow alumni and friends of the university to learn more about ways to give, events on campus, and other updates.
