John Allen is a prime example of the proverbial “local boy done good.” I loved hearing about how he grew up in the Huntsville area, graduated from Auburn, and then decided to come back home and not only start a career but get involved in his community.
People will find his story inspiring as he talks through the ups and downs of running a construction company — particularly during the market crash of 2008.
Now, he has found great joy in cross fit, endurance kayaking and snow climbing, which have made him not only more healthy and fit but have also made him into a better person and leader.
