Parker named director of Athens-Limestone Hospital’s ‘Baby Place’

ATHENS — Bringing more than 25 years of progressive maternal–child health experience, Kacey Parker has been named director of  the Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby Unit, referred to as The Baby Place, Athens-Limestone Hospital announced.

“We are excited to welcome Kacey to our leadership team,” said ALH Chief Nursing Officer Catherine Brown. “Her expertise, passion, and dedication to the families we serve will continue to strengthen the exceptional care provided by The Baby Place team.”

Parker, RNC-OB, is known for her collaborative approach.

Her family-centered care includes leading Women’s Services, advancing perinatal outcomes, strengthening safety culture, and enhancing the patient and family experience.

Parker’s clinical and leadership credentials include BLS, ACLS, STABLE, NRP Instructor, AWHONN OPS Obstetrical Emergency Instructor Candidate, and Certified Passenger Safety Technician.
