HUNTSVILLE – The winning streak began in 2019 and now, for the fifth year in a row, PeopleTec has been named a Best Workplace for Millennials in 2023.

The Huntsville company was ranked No. 14 among small and medium companies. PeopleTec has some 200 millennial employees making up nearly 35% of its total workforce.

The designation was created by Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine, which evaluate organizations through employee surveys to create what has become America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study.

The results are based on more than 1.3 million employee survey responses which, according to the report, reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience.

Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status or other demographic identifier.

In an extended study, Great Place to Work measured the differences in almost 500,000 millennial survey responses to those of other generations, and assessed the impact demographics, quality and consistency of experiences had on the responses.

Companies qualify for the list by having at least 50 millennial employees – meaning those born between 1981 and 1996 – in the U.S.
