Regions, Jack’s working with Kids to Love to assist North Alabama foster children during the holidays

MADISON — Regions Bank and Jack’s are working to make a difference in the lives of children in foster care throughout North Alabama during the holiday season.

Over a dozen branch managers from Regions will be volunteering Thursday at Kids To Love, a Madison-based nonprofit that assists with foster care. The group will specifically help with gift distribution.

“Regions Bank is a proud sponsor of the Kids to Love “Christmas for Kids” program, which brings holiday cheer to over 3,000 children in foster care,” said Floresha Watkins, Community Relations Officer at Regions Bank. “Through this community partnership, our Regions branch associates in North Alabama are excited to help make the season brighter by fulfilling the gift wishes of children in need.”

The initiative is about more than just providing presents.

“It’s about fostering connections, spreading joy, and creating a sense of community and belonging,” Watkins said. “The holiday season is a time to share love, warmth, and kindness with others, and through Kids to Love, we aim to make that a reality for children in foster care.”

“Together, we can make this holiday season special for all.”

To play its role in helping those in foster care, Jack’s has launched a  “round up” campaign to Dec. 24, inviting guests to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar at more than 190 locations across the Southeast. Proceeds from the campaign will directly benefit the Kids to Love Foundation, helping local foster children find their forever homes this holiday season.

Jack’s executives explained why the company works with the non-profit organization.

“At Jack’s, we’re about more than just feeding families – we’re about supporting them,” said Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess. “Partnering with the Kids to Love Foundation gives us the chance to extend that mission by helping foster children find the hope and opportunity to build brighter futures.”
