Huntsville International Airport has two consecutive national Best Small Airport titles under its belt. Now, HSV is looking for a three-peat.
The airport is once again nominated for Best Small Airport in the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, with voting underway through Oct. 5.
The nomination follows back-to-back wins in Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice Awards, which named Huntsville International the nation’s Best Small Airport in both 2024 and 2025.
HSV is also no stranger to the top of USA Today’s list. Huntsville International won the publication’s Best Small Airport contest in 2020 and finished No. 2 in both 2021 and 2023.
This year, supporters can cast one vote per device each day through 10:59 a.m. CST Oct. 5.
Airport officials say the national recognition is more than bragging rights, with strong rankings helping showcase HSV to airlines and businesses as Huntsville works to expand air service and passenger options.
Huntsville International has continued to add routes and service as the Rocket City and surrounding region grow.
Now, airport officials are again turning to travelers and the North Alabama community to help put HSV at the top of the list.
