Rosalie Allen named deciBel Research president

HUNTSVILLE — Rosalie Allen has been named president of deciBel Research, the company recently announced. Jeff Gronberg will continue to serve as CEO, with a focus on strategy and long-term growth initiatives.

Allen will focus on the company’s operational and day-to-day business activities. She will also oversee product and deliverable quality and customer relationships for the employee-owned company.

“I have worked with Rose for many years through various community organizations,” said Gronberg. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our growing employee-owned company. Her leadership and operational expertise will be fundamental in leading deciBel Research into the next chapter of company growth.

“We are excited to welcome her to our team of employee-owners.”

Allen is formerly president of Interfuze, was the Huntsville site lead for Booz Allen Hamilton, and was director of the Office of Strategic Analysis and Communications for the Marshall Space Flight Center.

She serves on the Board of Directors for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce; Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle’s Advisory Board on Technology; Board of Directors, Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama; Board of Directors, Downtown Huntsville, Inc.; and Regional Council co-chair for Leadership Alabama.

Allen holds a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Auburn University.
