HUNTSVILLE – While undergoing expansion, Shenanigans Comedy Theatre is holding several events to perpetuate accessibility to comedy in the Tennessee Valley.
The nonprofit comedy club announced the expansion in March to their facility at 2650 Leeman Ferry Road. The expansion provides more space for community outreach programs, theatre arts education, and performance space.
“With our expansion, we are looking at more ways to engage the people of Huntsville to learn more about our theatre and our outreach programs,” said owner Kim Wilson. “Enjoy a show, event, or class at our location and share it with your friends. We want to make you part of the Shenanigans family where there is room for everyone.”
(Shenanigans Comedy Club contributed)On June 23, movies lovers and foodies can experience Savory Cinema – an all-inclusive food and film experience where the food courses and drinks are inspired by what is on the screen.
The first film, “Inconceivable,” was made in 2017 and is already a classic. Information can be found at huntsvillelaughs.com.
The menu offers several courses of food with cocktails and mocktails, making it a perfect outing for birthdays, anniversaries or just a great night out.

For the fans of the small screen, Shenanigans is bringing back its popular fundraiser, Scavenger Hunt.
The theme is PG-rated TV sitcoms and takes place June 24 from 1-4 p.m. The hunt begins and ends at Shenanigans Comedy Theatre.
Get your “Friends,” “Perfect Strangers,” or even invite the “Full House” to join in and explore Huntsville, perform tasks, and answer trivia via the Goosechase app.
Teams consist of up to four people and at least one person on each team has to be able to drive a car. Also, each group will need a cell phone. The cost per team is $30. Click here to sign up.
