TUSCUMBIA – Singing River Dentistry expanded its North Alabama footprint this week with the opening of a sixth state-of-the-art dental practice. The new office is on the corner of Lindsay Lane and U.S. 72 in Athens.
The new office is large enough to accommodate two dentists and four hygienists.
A fixture in Muscle Shoals for nearly 30 years, Singing River Dentistry was founded by Dr. Jimmy Gardiner who said he is thrilled their expansion is part of the continued growth of Limestone County.
“At Singing River Dentistry, our mission is to care for people by providing dental care to patients of all ages,” said Gardiner. “We’re excited to join this thriving community and serve the citizens of Limestone County and surrounding areas.”
Dr. Stephen Watkins, a recent addition to the Singing River family, is leading the new location with decades of experience in general and family dentistry. He said he is committed to providing the same outstanding care and compassion for which the other Singing River locations are known.
“As someone who started his practice in Athens, I am excited to be returning to this community and helping patients achieve their best oral health alongside our team,” said Watkins.
Singing River said it provides dental services from routine checkups to cosmetic dentistry and implants. The practice is in network with most insurance companies, including Medicaid.
