HUNTSVILLE – If you want to take a peek behind the curtain at Hays Farm, so to speak, then make plans to come out next month.

The South Huntsville Main Business Association and Hays Farm are hosting a community update Oct. 9 on the developments at the South Huntsville neighborhood.

The event is 5 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Grissom High School auditorium.

“We are excited to share the significant progress made at Hays Farm and exciting things still to come,” said John Hays. “This development represents the culmination of years of work by the City of Huntsville and local businesses, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the collective vision come to life in a way that benefits the South Huntsville community.

“We look forward to updating everyone on the next steps, especially with the public park, new retail spaces, and much more that will make Hays Farm a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike.”

The community will be provided an inside look at the progress and hear upcoming plans that will further enhance South Huntsville.

Speaking will be:

  • Mayor Tommy Battle
  • John Hays
  • Huntsville City Councilwoman Dr. Jennie Robinson
  • David Garnett, Senior Director, Colliers Commercial Real Estate
  • Madison County Commissioner Phil Riddick
  • Brenda Conville, vice president of Real Estate, Freedom Real Estate and Capital

A major highlight will be updates on the highly anticipated Hays Farm public park, as well as new developments regarding retail, business, and restaurant openings that are set to enhance the area.

The event is free and refreshments will be available.
