Strike up the bands: Music Cities Convention coming to Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville Music Office brings a sweeping score to Huntsville announcing the Music Cities Convention 

The convention is the largest global event on the use and importance of music within city development. It is presented by the Huntsville Music Office and Huntsville-Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau and scheduled for Oct 18-20, 2023.

The 12th edition of the three-day event is in perfect harmony with Huntsville’s mission to create a more dynamic music environment from education to creation, production, and performance.

Delegates from more than 20 countries will attend, putting Huntsville’s innovative music efforts and venues in front of an international audience and hundreds of industry professionals.

The convention features global music city policies, music and economic development, music and technology, music and education, the role of music in future cities, the nighttime economy, supporting musicians, city and place branding, music tourism, music & real estate, music for community building and that’s just to get started.

The all-around celebration will feature live music, panel discussions, presentations, parties, and networking opportunities at the Von Braun Center, Orion Amphitheater and U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
