After drawing a huge crowd for its first World Cup watch party, Timberlake, League & Brooks is inviting soccer fans back to downtown Huntsville this week for another chance to cheer on the United States Men’s National Team.
The Huntsville law firm will host a free public watch party Wednesday, July 1, for the United States’ pivotal 2026 FIFA World Cup match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The match carries added significance, with the Americans needing a victory to advance to the tournament’s Round of 16.
The event will take place outside the firm’s offices at 125 Holmes Ave., where organizers will once again close the street and set up a large outdoor viewing screen.
The firm’s inaugural World Cup watch party generated a strong turnout and enthusiastic response from the community, prompting organizers to bring the event back for the high-stakes matchup.
“Our first watch party showed us just how much this community wanted to come together for the World Cup, and we can’t wait to do it all again,” said attorney Will League of Timberlake, League & Brooks. “This match means even more — a win sends the USA to the Round of 16. There’s no better place to be than out on Holmes Avenue, cheering them on with our neighbors.”
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a pregame gathering ahead of the 7 p.m. kickoff. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and plenty of Team USA spirit.
The event will also feature giveaways throughout the evening, including Huntsville City FC tickets, a training session from United Soccer Club, gift cards to Soccer Post and additional prizes.
The watch party is free and open to the public.
Timberlake, League & Brooks, a North Alabama personal injury law firm, has used the World Cup’s arrival in the United States to create community-focused events centered around the tournament, bringing soccer fans together in the heart of downtown Huntsville.
