HUNTSVILLE – Torch Technologies has received a prime contract with a $33 billion ceiling and supports research and development across the Department of Defense, the company announced today.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract was awarded under Pool 1 of the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DoDIAC) Multiple Award Contract (MAC).
“We are excited to be one of the Pool 1 prime awardees for this important contracting vehicle,” said Torch Technologies President Brad Walker. “The DoDIAC IAC MAC contract selects the best of the best in research and development to provide services throughout the DoD and we are proud to be included in this group.
“This contract will enable us to serve a more diverse customer base in a broader geographic region with our innovative services and solutions designed to enhance the capabilities of the warfighter.”
Established in 1946, the DoDIAC program serves the DoD science & technology (S&T) and acquisition communities to drive innovation and technological developments by enhancing collaboration through integrated scientific and technical information development and dissemination for the DoD and broader S&T community.
Work will be performed in various locations, determined at the individual task order level, and is expected to be completed Sept. 29, 2027, Torch Technologies said in a news release.
The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity.
