The Rocket City Trash Pandas are bringing back a popular spring tradition, announcing the return of the Big Ol’ Ballpark Fair for its seventh year at Toyota Field.

The fair, produced in partnership with Kissel Entertainment, is scheduled to run May 7 through May 17 in the stadium’s parking lot. The event will be closed May 11.

Organizers say the fair will once again transform the venue into a full-scale carnival, featuring rides, games and attractions for all ages. Offerings include roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, carousels and a tilt-a-whirl, along with traditional midway games and food options such as fried Oreos, cotton candy and chicken on a stick.

New this year is a Big Top Circus, which organizers say will add an additional entertainment element to the lineup.

The fair will open at 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and at 3 p.m. on weekends. Admission is $10 per night, with parking available for $5. Unlimited ride armbands are priced at $35 on weekends and $30 during the week, with discounted advance purchases available online.

Several themed promotions are planned throughout the event, including a student appreciation day offering free admission, a buy-one-get-one ride night and a comic-themed discount day.

The Trash Pandas, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, said the annual fair is part of the organization’s broader effort to create community-focused entertainment experiences in the region.
