Tucker named junior lender at Bank Independent

SHEFFIELD – As part of Bank Independent’s new lender pilot training program, Jacob Tucker will transition to the role of junior lender, according to a news release.

“We’re proud to support Jacob as he continues developing his skills and preparing to become one of the next generation of great lenders at Bank Independent.” 

Tucker joined Bank Independent in June 2023 as part of the learning and development  team before moving into the professional development area in early 2024. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama and a master’s degree in leadership and public service from Lipscomb University. 

Tucker recently completed his first year at Alabama Banking School and was elected president of the Class of 2026.
