The circa 1900 building, across Triana Boulevard from Merrimack Hall, includes 23,400 square feet of space. The five-year lease was brokered by Huntsville’s NAI Chase Commercial on behalf of 3405 Triana Ozone LLC, which owns the property.

“We are delighted to have leased to such a well-known local brand in Huntsville, University Pickers,” said Ashley Farrell, lead agent on the lease with NAI Chase Commercial, a global commercial real estate broker headquartered in Huntsville. “The landlord and the tenant had instant chemistry and are going to do great things together.”

The building’s historic nature and location is expected to create a unique shopping experience for University Pickers patrons, Farrell said.

“University Pickers (which was represented by John Blue Realty in the deal) will bring new life to the former city of Huntsville school building and surrounding area,” Farrell said. “This lease is the latest of several recent major transactions we’ve represented in the Huntsville market and demonstrates a steady demand for commercial space as Huntsville continues its growth surge,” Farrell said.
