Weather forecast forces change in UNA-Army baseball series at Toyota Field

MADISON — Due to rain and possible storms in the forecast, the Army-UNA baseball series at Toyota Field is rescheduled with a doubleheader Friday and a single game Saturday. It was originally set for a four-game series.
The schools will play two 9-inning games Friday with the first pitch at 2 p.m. The second game will start approximately 45 minutes after the opener. Tickets are valid for both games of the doubleheader, and gates will open at 1 p.m.
Saturday’s game is still on as scheduled with a 2 p.m. first pitch and gates open at 1 p.m. However, if the game cannot be played, the teams will play Sunday at 11 a.m.
An update will be provided for Saturday’s game status on the Trash Pandas’ social media channels and TrashPandasBaseball.com.
Fans who have purchased seats to Sunday’s contest can exchange their tickets for either the Friday doubleheader or Saturday’s single game. Tickets for seats of equal or lesser value can be exchanged at the Wicks Family Foundation Box Office.
