HUNTSVILLE – Precision is the keyword to predicting and tracking weather, and now a new partnership between Baron Weather Services and the global Esri Partner Network, will not only advance geospatial technology, but enable Baron to provide location-specific past and present, and forecast weather data more accurately, Baron said in a news release.
Headquartered in Huntsville, Baron Weather develops weather radar, weather and water modeling, and operational meteorology. Esri produces geographic information system software, location intelligence, and mapping.

As an EPN silver partner, Baron’s solutions will empower businesses, government agencies, and other Esri users by enabling effortless implementation of Baron’s weather intelligence within the Esri suite of products.
This offering couples the advantages of Esri’s easy-to-use GIS solutions, visualization and location intelligence with Baron’s current weather conditions, major perils detection, and historical datasets within the various ArcGIS products – that is a family of client, server and online GIS software developed and maintained by Esri.
Users across myriad industries including public safety and insurance claims professionals, will now have access to Baron’s exclusive forecast and historical data, and impact weather detection. Baron data is highly detailed and includes the underlying values that can be queried along with visualization for quick analysis.
