Amentum Services Inc. has received a $9.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Army to continue providing global aviation maintenance services, with a portion of the work to be performed in Huntsville.
The modification, awarded by the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, increases the total value of the contract to nearly $368 million.
Work under the modification will be performed in Huntsville, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Germany, with completion expected by Nov. 30, 2026.
The Army said the $9,385,002 modification funds continued work under the existing contract. The award includes fiscal 2025 aircraft procurement funds, fiscal 2026 Foreign Military Sales funding for Australia, operations and maintenance funding, and additional aircraft procurement funds.
The contract supports global aviation maintenance services, though the Department of Defense did not provide additional details about the specific work covered by the modification.
Amentum maintains a significant presence in Huntsville, where the company provides engineering, facility management and mission support services for federal agencies and defense customers, including work supporting the Missile Defense Agency and operations at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
