HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is accepting applications for its 2026 Women’s Business Council, a group of local women leaders dedicated to advancing business growth and professional development across North Alabama.

The Council, which is limited to 10–18 members, brings together women entrepreneurs and executives from a wide range of industries to foster mentorship, collaboration, and community impact. Members represent businesses of all sizes, from startups with fewer than five employees to established firms with hundreds of staff and multi-million-dollar revenues.

To be considered, applicants must be Chamber members in good standing and represent woman-owned businesses with at least 51% ownership and three or more years in operation. Council members are expected to actively participate in meetings and events throughout the year, beginning their terms in January 2026.

While Council membership is selective, events hosted by the WBC are open to the broader business community, providing opportunities for networking, learning, and engagement.

Applications are open through Oct. 3 and can be submitted through the Chamber’s website.
