DigiFlight Inc. has received a $13.6 million contract modification to continue providing logistics support for the U.S. Army’s Apache attack helicopter program at Redstone Arsenal.

The U.S. Department of Defense announced the award, valued at $13,617,521, as a modification to an existing contract supporting the Army’s Apache Attack Helicopter Project Office.

Work will be performed in Huntsville at Redstone Arsenal and is scheduled for completion by Dec. 31, 2026.

Although headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, DigiFlight maintains a Huntsville office in Cummings Research Park, where employees support aviation, logistics and defense programs tied to Redstone Arsenal.

The contract funds integrated logistics services, including supply chain management, repair coordination and technical support that help sustain the Army’s fleet of AH-64 Apache helicopters.

Funding for the award comes from two sources: U.S. Army aircraft procurement funds for fiscal year 2026 and Foreign Military Sales funds supporting allied nations that operate the Apache helicopter. Countries participating in the Foreign Military Sales portion include Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, as well as Ashmore and Cartier Islands and Niue.

The contract modification was awarded by the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal on July 6.

The Apache Attack Helicopter Project Office, headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, oversees lifecycle management, modernization and sustainment of the Army’s AH-64 Apache fleet and supports allied nations operating the aircraft through the Foreign Military Sales program.
