“Pediatric Cardiology care encompasses so many areas of a child’s life, from caring for sick premature babies in incubators to keeping our young athletes safe on the football field,” said Dr. Kanya Singhapakdi, board-certified pediatric cardiologist at the new facility. “One in every one hundred babies is born with a congenital heart disease. Huntsville is a rapidly growing city, and the need for Pediatric Cardiology care is growing alongside it.”
Singhapakdi said the facility is more than a treatment center.
“Our clinic will serve as a valuable local resource for the children of North Alabama in need of not only critical cardiac care but also guidance when it comes to heart-healthy daily living,” she said. “Our team lives and trained in the South and are familiar with the challenges patients in this area face.”
The offices of the new practice are in Suite 101 of the Huntsville Hospital Professional Tower,t 420 Lowell Drive.
