Huntsville-based Sigmatech Inc. has been awarded a $108.9 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide systems engineering and technical assistance supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Space Acquisition and Integration.
The firm-fixed-price contract, valued at $108,862,926, will support the office responsible for overseeing space acquisition and integration efforts across the Department of the Air Force.
Work will be performed in the National Capital Region and is expected to continue through July 23, 2031.
The contract was competitively awarded after the Air Force received four proposals.
Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds totaling $43,183 were obligated at the time of the award. The Air Force District of Washington at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, serves as the contracting activity.
Headquartered in Cummings Research Park, Sigmatech was founded in 1986 and provides engineering, technical, program management and training services to federal agencies. The company supports a range of defense, space and aerospace programs for the Department of Defense, NASA and other government customers.
The latest award further expands Huntsville’s role in supporting the nation’s military space enterprise, an area that continues to be a major driver of the region’s defense and aerospace economy.
