Madison Street Festival features fun, family and food

MADISON — If it’s the first Saturday in October, then that means it’s time for the Madison Street Festival.

The daylong event returns to Historic Downtown Madison with the opening parade stepping off at 9 a.m.

There will be live music, local art, kids’ activities, vendors and food – something for everyone to enjoy.

And that means everyone, including a children’s and teen area with activities.

Another feature is Stuff the Bus for Madison City Schools. Donate classroom supplies for teachers, or personal hygiene products for local kids in need. For a list of supplies, click HERE.

To overcome parking, a free shuttle service runs all day from Cross Point Church and Madison City Schools stadium to the festival site.
