MADISON – Individuals, ensembles and choirs who believe they have the chops to sing the national anthem in front of a crowd, your chance has come.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas will host auditions Feb. 17 at Parkway Place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to perform the “Star Spangled Banner” before one of the Trash Pandas’ 69 games at Toyota Field this season. The auditions will be on the mall’s lower level in front of Dillard’s.

Applicants should complete the form here or at TrashPandasBaseball.com. Each registered contestant will be contacted to schedule a performance. Individuals or groups who don’t register but wish to audition are welcome to attend and will be wait=listed on a first-come, first-served basis. They cannot be guaranteed an audition due to time constraints.

The event will be hosted by Trash Pandas on-field emcee “Tricky’’ Ricky Fernandez. A panel of judges for the auditions will be revealed in the coming weeks.
