Radiance Technologies promotes Darien Hammett to chief operating officer

Radiance Technologies has promoted Executive Vice President Darien J. Hammett to chief operating officer.

In his new role, Hammett will oversee daily operations, execution of strategic initiatives and internal processes, with a focus on driving organizational efficiency and continued growth.

Hammett brings three decades of aerospace and defense experience to the position, including more than 24 years of active duty service in the U.S. Air Force. His background includes engineering operations, senior acquisition leadership and work in classified air and space programs.

“We are thrilled to promote Darien to the COO position and continue to have him as part of our leadership team at Radiance,” said Radiance Technologies Chief Executive Officer Bill Bailey. “As we continue to grow our capabilities, his leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we meet the real-world demands of our customers.”

Company officials said Hammett has played a key role in leading teams and advancing complex defense systems, with experience translating technical capabilities into mission-focused solutions for defense and intelligence customers.

Founded in 1999, Radiance Technologies is an employee-owned contractor with more than 1,100 employees nationwide, supporting the Department of Defense, intelligence community and other federal agencies in areas including cybersecurity, systems engineering and intelligence analysis.
