MADISON – Stoney River, an upscale steakhouse, celebrated its first Alabama location with a grand opening Monday at Clift Farm. Known for its high-quality steaks, fresh seafood and signature dishes, Stoney River offers “a polished yet approachable dining experience.”
The menu offers everything from $50 center-cut steaks to $24 lobster roll sandwiches. Another popular nonsteak option is the Tuscan chicken, featuring goat cheese, sundried tomato, beurre blanc, garlic whipped potatoes, broccoli for $24.
The event hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce featured the Stoney River tradition of christening the building with a champagne bottle-smashing ceremony.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors to the Madison community and look forward to offering an unforgettable dining experience, complete with delicious food and exceptional hospitality,” said Senior Director of Marketing Shawn Van Winkle.
At the event, Stoney River also presented the nonprofit Kids to Love with a $5,000 donation.
“We’re proud to give back to the Madison community and are honored to support such a meaningful cause like Kids to Love. We can’t wait to welcome our guests and make a lasting, positive impact together,” said Van Winkle.
Kids to Love is dedicated to improving the lives of foster children in Alabama and Tennessee.
“We are very grateful for Stoney River’s partnership and donation, which will allow us to continue providing critical support to foster children in Madison County and beyond,” said Business Development Director Heather Carlton.
Stoney River is open seven days a week with a menu featuring hand-cut steaks, signature entrees, hand-crafted cocktails and curated wine list. The Madison location also offers a private dining room available for special celebrations or casual meals.
The Madison location on John Henry Way in Clift Farm is Stoney River’s 14th restaurant.
