Huntsville is one of three cities named in the rollout, alongside Phoenix, Arizona, and Riverside, California. The bank has not yet released a location or expected opening date for the Huntsville branch.
Chase Community Centers function as banking branches that also host free financial education workshops and one-on-one coaching on topics including budgeting, building credit, and managing debt. The workshops are open to the public regardless of whether attendees bank with Chase. Each center is staffed by a locally hired Community Manager who provides education and connects residents to financial resources.
Chase currently operates 19 Community Centers nationwide and plans to double that number. The first opened in Harlem in 2019, where the bank says personal savings balances grew 73 percent over the branch’s first five years.
The bank already has a Community Manager in Birmingham, Geno Gardner, who began the role in the second half of 2024 and has led more than 125 workshops reaching over 1,500 people. Chase expects to add Community Managers in Huntsville, Mobile, and Montgomery later this year.
“The American Dream remains a powerful aspiration, but it has become increasingly difficult for many families to achieve upward mobility. We know what works—every day we see how access to knowledge, tools and trusted support can change the trajectory for individuals and families,” said Jennifer Roberts, CEO of Chase Consumer Banking.
“That’s why we’re scaling local support and practical tools to reach more communities and help more people build a secure financial future.”
Chase has also expanded its local staffing. Rochelle Silveira was hired as a Senior Business Consultant in Huntsville, providing one-on-one coaching to local business owners through the bank’s Coaching for Impact program. She has 15 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and small businesses.
In May, the bank added a Home Lending Advisor in Huntsville, Jimmy McColpin, and is seeking to hire two more for the area.
The Huntsville investment is part of Chase’s American Dream Initiative, which the bank says will create approximately 300 new jobs nationally through the hiring of more than 150 additional Community Managers. JPMorganChase recently reached a milestone of 1 million people served through its financial education programs and has set a goal of reaching 5 million.
