HUNTSVILLE – Let the voting begin.
Not to send someone to Montgomery or Washington, D.C., however, but to name the organization that sends air travelers to destinations far and wide as the best in its industry.
Huntsville International Airport (HSV) has been nominated for Best Small Airport by Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards. Fans of North Alabama’s largest commercial airport can vote online daily for HSV at https://www.newsweek.com/readerschoice/best-small-airport.
The Readers’ Choice Awards included HSV among 15 contenders for 2024’s best small airport in the United States. According to Newsweek, the nominees are small airports that are noted for their ease of use and friendly service as well as providing elevated customer experiences ranging from live music to art galleries.
Voting is open until May 23 at 10:59 a.m. CST. Voters may cast their ballots for HSV once daily from different devices including their mobile phones, tablets, laptop and desktop computers.
There are also links on the homepages of HSV’s websites flyhuntsville.com and portofhuntsville.com. Daily voting prompts with links are available on HSV social media accounts Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
The top 10 finishers will be announced May 30.
