The U.S. Army awarded KBR Wyle Services LLC a $35.98 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide systems engineering and technical assistance services, according to a Department of Defense contract announcement.

The work will support digital transformation, program management, engineering, software development, cybersecurity and logistics activities for multiple weapon systems programs.

The contract carries a total cumulative value of approximately $207.9 million and is expected to continue through Dec. 21, 2031.

Work will be performed at Redstone Arsenal, with the award managed by Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal.

Funding obligated at the time of the award includes $6.25 million in Army missile procurement funds from fiscal years 2025 and 2026, $750,000 in Foreign Military Sales administrative funds and approximately $1.3 million in fiscal 2026 Army operations and maintenance funding.

Four bids were received through an internet solicitation process.

Headquartered in Maryland, KBR maintains a substantial presence in Huntsville, employing more than 1,000 engineers, developers and analysts in the region. The company operates a major facility at Redstone Gateway near Redstone Arsenal and supports both Army and NASA programs.

Locally, KBR’s work includes missile defense, aviation systems, digital engineering and advanced technology development. The company has been involved in programs supporting the Patriot missile defense system, ballistic missile defense initiatives and emerging defense technologies.

The latest award continues KBR’s long-standing support of Army weapons programs headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, one of the nation’s largest centers for missile and defense-related research, development and acquisition.
