Range Generation Next LLC has received a new contract modification from the U.S. Army, extending ongoing support work tied to a major missile testing range and pushing the total value of the award beyond half a billion dollars.
RGNext was awarded a $14,018,348 modification to its existing contract for continued support of the Reagan Test Site, which supports operations in the Kwajalein Islands.
The latest modification brings the total cumulative value of the contract to $546,696,690, according to the Department of Defense.
Work under the contract will be performed in Huntsville, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2030. Funding for the modification comes from fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
The contract was awarded by Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, in support of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command.
RGNext is a joint venture between Raytheon Company and General Dynamics Information Technology, providing a range of technical and operational services including engineering, communications, cybersecurity, logistics and missile systems support.
The Reagan Test Site, located in the Kwajalein Atoll, is a key component of U.S. missile testing and space operations infrastructure. The continued investment underscores Huntsville’s role as a hub for missile defense and advanced testing capabilities.
Company officials say RGNext’s workforce supports a wide range of mission-critical functions, from systems operations and maintenance to ballistic missile and guided weapons testing, reinforcing North Alabama’s position in national defense operations.
