Imperial Dade acquires North Alabama Chemical in Southeast expansion

DECATUR– Imperial Dade, a distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, has acquired North Alabama Chemical in a private transaction for an undisclosed amount. NAC is a Decatur-based, full-service janitorial supplies and service provider with locations in Huntsville and Florence.

It is the 50th acquisition for the New Jersey-based company under Chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis. The brothers took control of the company in 2007.

“I am excited to partner with Peter (Farrell) and the NAC team to further grow our presence in northern Alabama in this next chapter of growth,” said Robert Tillis. “This acquisition reinforces our focus to strengthen our presence in key growth markets to ensure our customers receive the highest quality service.”

He said NAC is a leading distributor in North Alabama and has an excellent commitment to its customers, which makes it a great addition to the Imperial Dade platform.
