Rock the South has added another Alabama name to its growing 2026 lineup, announcing Monday that Rogersville native Titus Thornton will perform at next month’s festival in Decatur.
The announcement comes as Rock the South prepares for a major transition into its new permanent home at The Fields at Decatur after spending the past 14 years in Cullman.
Festival organizers described Thornton as a rising country artist whose music is rooted in Southern living, agriculture and traditional country influences.
Thornton, a row crop farmer from Rogersville, grew up surrounded by farm life and classic country music. According to organizers, he began driving a tractor at age 7 and started playing music by age 8, drawing inspiration from artists including Keith Whitley, Hank Williams Jr. and George Jones.
He also performed as part of the Lauderdale County FFA String Band, which earned first place in a talent competition at the National FFA Convention.
Rock the South organizers said Thornton’s addition reflects the festival’s continued focus on Southern artists and homegrown talent.
The 15th annual festival will take place June 11-13 at The Fields at Decatur and feature headliners Jason Aldean, Riley Green and Zach Top.
Other performers scheduled for the three-day event include Jessie Murph, BigXthaPlug, Brantley Gilbert, Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence and Lauren Alaina, among others.
Last year, festival organizers announced Rock the South would relocate to Decatur beginning in 2026, with organizers investing in a permanent festival site spanning more than 150 acres.
Peachtree Entertainment officials said the move will allow for expanded camping, upgraded fan amenities, additional stages and long-term infrastructure improvements aimed at growing the festival experience.
“This is about building on what fans already love and creating an even bigger experience for the future,” organizers previously said when announcing the move.
Tickets for the 2026 festival are available through Rock the South.
