Peraton awarded $284M contract to support DIA

RESTON, Va. — Peraton has secured a $284 million contract to support the Defense Intelligence Center in Huntsville.

The five-year task order is to provide solutions to counter advanced weapons systems, the company said.

“Countering advanced conventional weapons is clearly a mission of national importance and we are honored that MSIC has entrusted Peraton to support them in this capacity,” said Dr. Roger Mason, president of the company’s Space & Intelligence sector. “We will bring our best expertise from across the team and multiple domains to enable this exciting new contract in Huntsville.”

The program will enable the intelligence and defense communities to analyze and assess threats. The task order is designed to provide the flexibility to adjust the order of out-year weapon systems and modeling and simulation studies to meet current and emerging threats.

Peraton is hiring for the contract in Huntsville in research and technology; intelligences analysis; engineering and integration; data science; modeling and simulation; and language enabled analysis.
